Shivam Shirolawala is the Founder and Managing Partner of Grey Fox Partners. He has worked between business owners and the firms that buy companies since 2015, including inside two investment firms. His view is that as buyers turn to AI, the advantage is moving toward understanding owners and the psychology of a sale.
Prior to founding Grey Fox, Mr. Shirolawala was a member of the business development team at Percheron Capital, where he co-led the firm’s work in essential services and helped build how it found and approached companies, as its funds grew from $770 million to $3.1 billion. Before that, he worked on software acquisitions at Vista Equity Partners, one of the world’s largest software investors, which owned more than 85 companies. Previously, he led business development for a leading supply chain consulting firm, growing firm revenue by more than 40 percent during his tenure. Earlier, he founded and sold WeAreBD, a software company, and advised investment firms at PitchBook Data. He began his career at a boutique investment bank in New York.
Mr. Shirolawala received a B.S. in Finance, summa cum laude, from Rutgers University. He lives in Austin with his wife, two children and golden retriever.
